Burgundian Wars Scenario Generator 1474–77 (Manpower / Commands)

Burgundian Wars Scenario Generator (1474–77)

Rules-agnostic. Outputs show Commands, Units/Detachments, and actual manpower (men). Players choose deployment; generator provides historically plausible tendencies. Burgundy Swiss & Allies

1) Scenario Set-up

Ignored for presets (presets lock the year).
Presets override these two controls.

2) Guns, Keils, Terrain & Circumstances

Manpower convention: 15 men per light piece, 25 per medium piece, 40 per heavy piece.
Keils are broken into Fähnlein companies (typically 400–600 men each).
Terrain is generated separately for each side’s half (Swiss half and Burgundian half).
If present, Burgundian ditches/stakes are assumed to be in front of the gun line by default (players may alter).
TROOP QUALITY KEY: A Elite/Guard · B Veteran · C Regular trained · D Militia/support · E Rabble

Outputs

Player A Brief — Burgundy
Generate to populate…
Player B Brief — Swiss & Allies
Generate to populate…
Umpire Brief — Optional
Set “Generate Umpire Brief = Yes” then Generate.

Core principle: Command organisation, player deployment

Players choose their own deployment. The generator outputs Commands and the Units/Detachments within each Command. It provides a historic / historically plausible deployment tendency (with likelihood) to guide period feel — but it is not mandatory.
