Great War at Sea — Mediterranean Scenario Generator (Tabletop, Non‑Hex)

Two era‑specific generators for GWAS tabletop (non‑hex) play in the Mediterranean. Distances and setup follow the Isle of Man 2024 non‑hex QRS: 5,000 yards = 6⅔". Outputs include deployment, sighting, cargo/VP, and GWAS impulse notes.

Generator A — Early War (1914–1916): Independent Sail & Decoys

Solo‑friendly GWAS non‑hex setup for 1 sub vs independents (optional Q‑ship). Includes cargo/VP and GWAS deployment.

Options (1914–1916)

Scenario Output

Generator B — Convoy Era (1917–1918)

Convoys with escorts (JP/RN/FR/IT/GR), 1–2 subs (GER/A‑H). GWAS non‑hex deployment, armed‑merchant %, optional bait for ASW Sweep.

Options (1917–1918)

Scenario Output

This page applies the GWAS non‑hex QRS scale and deployment. Add your preferred national doctrine notes and ship record sheets as needed.
