Alternative or reproduction maps available

Not necessarily a complete list but we think we have most of the players - send us an email at [email protected] if you think that we have missed you out!

  • https://www.mapchart.net/wargames.html for a complete range of editable maps including a global map with a total of 10,403 hexagon areas on the map! But they also have maps for 1815 AD, 1880 AD, World War One and World War Two with the correct national areas. There is so much more... and for the perfectly usable basic system it is free.
  • https://www.spielematerial.de/ do an incredible range of items to help you build a game with components and bank maps. The website is in German and English. For those in the UK they have an Etsy account at https://www.spielematerial.de/en/brexit-uk.html
  • https://napoleongames.com/pages/game-components for some excellent maps from the games of Operational Studies Group. Ok "excellent" doesn't do them justice. Inexpensive as well. Of course you could buy the whole game along with the counters and cards. But ideal for a blind game..... with an umpire team and two opposing player teams.
  • https://cube4me.com/ is simply a fantastic site for blocks, rectangles, ok anything made out of wood games-wise. They also do loads of trays and have some delicious kits for your existing board games from leading wargame board game manufacturers such as Decision Games, Compass Games & GMT to mention a few. Great service as well!
  • https://boardgamelab.app/ which is in the advanced prototype stage but looks a fabulous design system for wargamers and includes playtesting as well as design.
  • https://secure.columbiagames.com/products/Blocks Columbia Games produce not only some excellent games but they also sell their 20mm & 24mm wooden blocks off separately and their labels and other game parts as well. The blocks come in a range of great colours.
  • https://camelotgamestore.com/cart Camelot produce a range of replacement maps (often with larger versions) and additional maps and counters (again some are larger). They look great but if you live outside of USA you are best to put in a large order due to the minimum postage charge being rather heavy.
  • https://tabletopsupply.co.uk/ Tabletop Supply provide an excellent & varied range of wooden block and shapes. They also do a good range of 8mm acrylic cubes.
  • https://www.bluepantherllc.com/ Blue Panther are a good choice for Print-On-Demand games with a good range of die cut counter sizes (1/2" to 1") available for printing your units if you use counters. Looks like they will provide you with help in ensuring that your game is both cost-effective and has all the necessary parts.
  • https://limeyyankgames.co.uk/die-cut-counter-showroom Limey Yank Games are based in the UK and provide a host of counters and oversized maps on both paper and canvas. They have A LOT of counters for a lot of older games (there may be newish ones in there!) - 11 pages of counters are listed. There are a considerable number of maps available to boot.
  • https://www.thegamecrafter.com/ Game Crafter have a huge range of pretty much all the items you need to produce a bespoke game. Definitely worth a look to see if it is what you are after. They don't seem to produce die-cut counter sheets but that is about it.
  • https://azaogames.com/en/ Azao Games have a jazzy site with a smallish range of products but seem to be very flexible with their custom products. Definitely worth a look.
